I design and produce murals, trompe l'oeil, and decorative painting for residences and businesses. I work in all sizes, from small niches to entire rooms to the sides of buildings. Each piece is designed to work harmoniously within the total design concept, whether the piece is the focus or simply an element.

A client who is considering a mural as part of their design plan is welcome to contact the studio by phone or email. The first step is a meeting to discuss particulars of the space, color palette, style preference, etc. Next, I provide an estimate of cost. Typically, time is the main factor determining cost. Size and complexity are two determinants of this. Some others are the condition of the surface, and the ease or difficulty reaching it.

Creating a rendering is the next step. This requires a retainer. After a final rendering is approved, time is scheduled for the actual painting to take place. Whenever possible, I paint larger works in the studio on muslin, a lightweight fabric used for theatrical backdrops. The finished piece is installed in the same manner as wallpaper. It can later be removed and reinstalled at a different location. When this option is not possible or efficient, I paint on site.

Beginning 2008, some newer works will be available as digital reproductions. These will be available in several sizes proportional to the original.
